What Winston can do

Winston helps turn available business information into findings, analysis and reviewable work. The exact job depends on your connected sources and supported workflows.

Find priorities

Overview surfaces findings from the checks you have switched on: stockout risk, inventory drag, a sales drop, lapsed high-value customers, promotion margin, cash variance, vendor credit, a holiday recap, and failed scheduled tasks. Read the source dates and monitoring status. An Overview card is a starting point for investigation, not proof that an action was taken.

Investigate the business

Use Chat or Learn Winston for supported work such as:

Inventory and purchasing: stock availability, days of supply, reorder planning, aging inventory and substitutes.
Sales and margins: completed-period comparisons, product and category trends, gross profit and discount economics.
Customers and campaigns: aggregate cohorts, identification quality and attributed campaign performance where the necessary data exists. Contact eligibility and permission to send require separate checks.
Store controls: cash variance, returns and employee-attributed patterns. Treat outliers as questions to investigate, not findings of misconduct.
Vendor credits: opportunities, modeled requests and reconciliations against confirmed agreement terms. A potential credit is not automatically money owed or collected.
Regulatory comparisons: supported package or quantity comparisons using the relevant authorized sources. These do not certify compliance.
Website and competitor research: public content, menu comparisons and prioritized observations where sources can be accessed. Public information may be incomplete or change.

Prepare something useful

Supported workflows can prepare reports, spreadsheets, pages, presentations, videos or invoice-review outputs. Specify the audience and required format. Verify extracted fields, product matches, calculations and any proposed external action before relying on the result.

Creating a draft, approving it and successfully publishing or submitting it are separate stages. A connection must support and permit the intended action. See Review and approve.

Reuse and repeat

Turn a method you have checked into a skill, schedule supported work, or ask about a custom monitor. One does not automatically create the others.
