Put any report on a schedule, and meet Winston where your team already talks.

Schedule recurring work

Ask in chat; there is no form. "Run the daily sales pulse every morning at 7." Winston takes 2 to 3 minutes, then replies with exactly what it scheduled. Checked Aug 22, 2026 · Check three things in that reply: the day and time, the timezone, and the delivery line. Your wording sets delivery: "save it to the Library" means off; "post it to #channel" or "email it to" means on.

The Scheduled Tasks page lists every job with its cadence, next run, an Enabled/Disabled pill, and pause and delete icons. "Pause the Monday schedule" flips it to Disabled in about ten seconds. Good first schedules: a daily sales recap vs the prior week, a weekly reorder report by vendor, a nightly Metrc variance check, a weekly competitor pricing tracker.

With delivery on (Slack, email), each run goes out automatically, no Approve. Run it manually a few times first; schedule with delivery on only once you trust it. Each run uses credits like a manual run. Your first schedule earns +150 credits.

Winston in Slack

Settings → Connections → Connect on the Slack card; a Slack admin approves the app. From then on, message Winston directly, mention it in a channel, or share an invoice and fix the line items right in the thread. Same brain and data access as dashboard chat, and the whole team sees the answer without anyone forwarding screenshots. Microsoft Teams is on the roadmap.

Two ways to get a report into a channel: type it ("Post this to #purchasing with a 3-bullet summary"), or set a schedule that delivers there. A typed post can go straight out or park in Work Audits if Winston routes it there (ask to see it first to force the gate); a schedule with delivery on always posts without an audit.
